Who runs the health and care hub?

The hub was built and is owned by Central Bedfordshire Council. Bedfordshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust have leased the building from the council.

How many parking spaces are there at the hub?

There are 171 parking bays for patients visiting the hub including 14 disabled parking bays. 

There are also electric charging bays.

Do we pay to park?

Parking is free for the first 2 hours, but you must register your car on arrival at the reception on the iPad device, collect a parking permit fand place it clearly in your windscreen area. If you park for longer than two hours, you must pay to park.

Is there disabled parking available? 

Yes, there is designated disabled parking on site near to the entrance. 

Is there cycle storage available?

Yes, there is a large cycle storage rack in which to park your bike.

Will local buses visit the site?

There are sufficient bus stops in the local area to serve the hub. For those unable to use public transport through reasons of disability, age, or social exclusion they can access the South Beds Dial-a-ride service.

Will this just be for the people of Dunstable?

The Hub will provide services and facilities for the people of Dunstable and from the surrounding villages.
